Abstract :
According to the measurement principle of the CCD optical target, the measurement accuracy´s influence made from lens distortion has been analyzed and a method of lens distortion correction that is suitable for CCD optical target has been propose. Using 10mm black and white stripes interval as the standard template image that has been compared and processed under the different object distance condition, the distortion correction function has been established by image processing and MATLAB curve fitting, indicates the deviation between the field of view and imaging pixels. The method is simple, precise, and operable so on. The measurement accuracy of CCD optical target has been improved significantly after the lens distortion correction by using this method.
