Abstract
In this paper, we present bathymetries data fusion using fuzzy concepts for underwater environment interpretation. This paper consists of four sections. The first section presents the basic ideas of the digital elevation map generation using shape from shading and interferometry techniques. The construction of the confidence map for each DEM results are detailed in the second section. In the third section, a new data fusion approach is defined in order to build a refined underwater environment DEM. The obtained results and the perspective are presented in the last section.
