Abstract :
We investigated the SH wave propagating in a layered structure consisting of a piezoelectric substrate imperfectly bonded with a viscoelastic layer. The imperfect factor of the interface is described by the so-called shear-lag model. The phase velocities are calculated to show the effects of the interfacial imperfection and the viscosity of the layer on the dispersive relationship and wave attenuation.
