Abstract
The aim of this paper is to model, analysis and simulation of load frequency control in two area power system and parameters variation effects. State equations of a LFC in two area power system for a steam turbine are proposed. Then by examining some factors such as tie-line stiffness, turbine time constant, inertia constant and damping factor, the frequency control methods and influence of a small load variation are discussed. Finally, the steady state change in frequency in different cases using Matlab is calculate and compared.
