Abstract :
Variable sampling is important issue for the motor drives with low resolution position sensors. We present the fuzzy PI (proportional and integral) controller for brushless dc (BLDC) motors considering variable sampling effect in this paper, and this controller uses three fuzzy logics and three PI controllers to achieve variable sampling control. Therefore, the simple structure of the fuzzy PI controller for BLDC motors considering variable sampling effect is not only implemented and understood easily, but also robust in variable speed control system.
