Abstract :
This paper presents a procedure for determining the level of distribution automation (DA) that is appropriate for the utility´s specific situation. The objective is to develop answers to two main questions: 1. Which DA applications should be considered? 2. What DA benefits will be achieved by implementing these DA applications?
