Abstract :
Water shortage and ecological and environmental problems caused by groundwater over-exploitation becomes more severe in North China Plain area. The South-to-North Water Transfer Project (SNWTP) is a strategic measure to relieve the problems. This paper evaluates the effect of SNWTP on exploitation of water recipient areas with scenario analysis.
