Abstract :
Organic compounds are the important pollution compounds in landfill leachates. For determinating organic compounds in landfill leachates, a pretreatment method for the analysis of organic components is the important step. In this paper, the landfill leachates were extract with liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) and solid-phase microextraction (SPE), respectively. The effect of different extraction methods on organic compounds kinds were compared. The results shown that there are 40 kinds of organic compounds can be determinated by LLE, but there are 92 kinds of organic compounds can be determinated by SPE. So SPE coupled with gas chromatographic (GC) is a fast and reliable method for the determination of organic compounds in landfill leachates.
