Abstract :
To discuss the problem of excess sludge reduction, ozonation was used to treat sludge from aerotank.we studied influences to effluent COD, NH3-N and TP by excess sludge reduction. Test indicated that specific desaturase activity of excess sludge decreased with oxidation time; in mixture of sludge and water after oxidation, SCOD increased with time extending; the removal rate of COD and TP had no obviously change,and the removal rate of NH3-N increased a little when access sludge after oxidation was discharged into aerotank.
