Abstract :
The faraday cup is developed for beam current measurement in 20cm ion thrusters. The distribution of beam current density and the beam ion density have been experimented. The maximal current density is 42.3A/mm2 at z = 50mm, the maximal current density is 28A/mm2 at z = 100mm.
