Abstract :
To achieve the full data rate and diversity gain with low decoding complexity in a multi-hop network, a space time block coded MIMO network coding (STBC-MIMO) with dual polarization antennas is proposed. Each node has two vertical polarized antennas and two horizontal polarized antennas and each node receives or transmits the STBC signal from or to forward and backward links. In this paper, the effect of polarized orthogonal STBC-MIMO network coding is evaluated by numerical results. As results, STBC-MIMO network coding can supply about 2.0 times higher performance than the conventional STBC-MIMO network coding by using dual polarization antennas.
