Abstract :
Tram rail transport is an important part of the underground coal mine transportation and it is also accident-prone, so the establishment of tram rail monitoring system in coal mine is essential. Conventional wired monitoring system has some problems and can not monitor the running of tram in real time. It makes the wireless mobile monitoring system for tram rail transport in underground coal mines possible by using WMN technology. This paper describes the characteristics of WMN, proposes a wireless mobile monitoring system for tram rail transport in underground coal mines based on WMN and solved the key problem of rapid rate decline over multi-hop in wireless backbone network. Studies show that this schema is well adapted to wireless mobile monitoring in underground coal mine.
