Abstract :
The Unix “curses” library provides terminal independent capability for designing user interfaces (UI) on 80×25 resolution character terminals. UI designers have to put a lot of effort into design and producing good and effective UI using complex curses library calls. The authors propose the architecture of a tool for the curses library. This tool equips the UI designer with an automatic code generation facility for the curses library through graphical system specification. The UI designer will be able to input user needs graphically, and the tool will in turn generate the code
