Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the poorly damped stator flux oscillation mode and evaluate its impact in the dynamic behavior of the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) used in grid connected wind turbines. The stator flux oscillation cause by supply voltage and rotor current variations can be reduced by the appropriate design of the dq PI controller bandwidths. In order to validate the analysis carried out experimental results are presented using an 1.5 kW DFIG where the rotor is supply for three phase PWM power converter controlled by DSP TMS320F241
