Abstract :
Anaerobic biological technology has been widely applied in the treatment of low-concentration organic water recently. However, there are no successful engineering cases of using anaerobic reactors to treat municipal wastewater because of its low efficiency. This paper puts forward the technological process of using unequal spaced opposite floded plate Reactor to treat municipal wastewater. Through the design of anaerobic baffled reactor structure and velocity of flow , Our purpose is to improve the treatment effect. This technological process not only increases the efficiency of mass transfer but also improves the biochemical activities of different kinds of microbe. Consequently, the efficiency of treating organic pollutants is greatly increased. The experimental results showed that when hydraulic residence time was more than 8h, the removal rate of COD was above 85% and less affected by the temperature of water.
