Abstract
This paper describes a procedure for developing and validating the dynamic models in electromagnetic and electromechanical simulation. The model development is achieved by using the trapezoidal integration and the hierarchical initialization. The black-box testing method is introduced to validate the accuracy of the developed models through several examples.
