Integrated asset management study for CODENSA and EMGESA

In 2010 the Colombian utilities CODENSA S.A. E.S.P. and EMGESA S.A. E.S.P. conducted a study with the energy consulting company KEMA to design and develop an asset management system based on the PAS-55:2008 de facto standard for both utilities, a maintenance management analysis for selected assets at CODENSA S.A. E.S.P., reliability analyses for chosen assets at CODENSA S.A. E.S.P. and EMGESA S.A. E.S.P., and the selection and prioritization of the projects obtained as result of the developed reliability analyses. This paper presents the methodology used and the main results and conclusions of the study.
