Abstract
In today´s competitive process industry marketplace, intelligent and low-cost industrial automation systems are required to improve the productivity and efficiency of such systems. The industry wireless network (IWN), which brings several advantages over traditional wired industrial monitoring and control systems, will play a vital role in control system for process industry. At first, several typical IWN for control system of process industry, including WIA-PA ¿A,WirelessHARTand ISA-100.11a, are introduced, and communication in IWN is discussed in this paper. an IWN based on wireless intranet and infranet is designed to meet the requirement of control system for process industry. Following that, The benefits of the system is presented , which including reliability, real time , efficiency and security . Finally, this paper is concluded.
