Abstract
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are widely used in electronics. However, the usage of PCBs in fluidic applications is rare. Adding a fluidic functionality to a PCB will create small intelligent fluidic systems at low cost. In this paper two systems are described: one micro system for the automated analysis of ferricions in water and one high-flow system for a medical device. These two systems are used to demonstrate the potential of the PCB technology in fluidic systems.
