Abstract :
The processing of digital image, automatic white balance is used for color reproducing under alternative color temperature. In some cases, traditional algorithms for white balance are not close to " real" color because of its own defect. For the color cast after the White Balance for Gray world algorithm for low rich color and the specular reflection algorithm for the image which has the highlight point, A modified automatic white balance method is proposed in this paper: we adopt the two binary equation for the classical algorithm by using different weighting methods to improve the shortcomings and retain the advantages of the algorithm. Hardware implementation is simple because of the low complexity of the algorithm. It is applicable to real-time processing for image. The 200 million pixels VGA camera has been achieved the algorithm. The results of the white balance showed that the algorithm is good.
