Abstract :
We develop a novel apodized, 16-level-phase-shifted SSFBG optical encoder/decoder, which can improve the system performance of OCDMA system. Error free (BERLt10-12) transmissions of 8-user, 10 Gbps, DPSK-OCDMA over 50 km are successfully demonstrated.
