Abstract :
This paper deals with estimation of target kinematics from radar measurements through offline processing of the trajectory data obtained from a ground based monopulse tracking radar. Being recursive the two popular filters αβγ and kalman filters are adopted. Simulations are carried out for these filters with three different trajectories of different dynamics. Their performances are compared. These filters are implemented in C and ported in 864 ID PowerPC for real time implementation.
