  • Abstract
    Surge arresters are a vital component for network safety. At Medium voltage networks (Vm ≤ 52kV), dry type pluggable surge arresters are known and widely used. This solution has now been taken to the next voltage level, Vm = 72.5kV. This paper discusses the general function, application in GIS and transformers, as well as testing.
