Abstract
Recently RFID has been receiving attention from ubiquitous computing researchers because of its potential in context-aware services. In this paper, we survey the existing context-aware RFID systems and introduce four context related issues in the systems: context, context-aware service types, system architecture, and middleware. Our work will help stakeholders including customers, analysts, developers, programmers, and testers to understand the systems, and to carry out their work efficiently in the process of developing context-aware RFID systems.
