Abstract
The new generation of high resolution Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) sensors provide new “light” in the imaging and monitoring of urban areas. Buildings and many ground structures can be monitored to an unprecedented accuracy. Nevertheless new problems, such as the interference of the response of scatterers in layover areas and deformations due to thermal dilation, arise and need to be faced. In this work we analyze these effects on a TerraSAR-X dataset acquired over the Las Vegas test site.
