Abstract
The paper introduces a current-fed push-pull ZVS DC-DC converter topology which has some superiority in low voltage and high current situation. Compare with the traditional converter used in fuel cell power generation system, this new one can reduce the semiconductor switching losses and switching noise effectively, so a higher efficiency of the circuit conversion is obtained and the EMI noise is reduced. The analysis of its operation principle in steady-state is expounded in detail. The converter loss is calculated and the efficiency in theory is given. Then the simulation results and experiment results prove that both the analysis of operation principle and the efficiency in theory are correct. Finally the converter is manufactured and the final experiment result is given in the paper.
