  • Abstract
    An analytical model for the characterization of statistics of dropped packet sequences due to shadowing outage intervals is presented for packet mobile radio networks. For a PRMA scheme, performance results are evaluated with two voice sources. Performance sensitivity to both buffer size and terminal mobile speed is also analysed
