  • Abstract
Raag is formed from different and correct combination of notes depending on which the Indian Classical Music is defined. Thhat is the parent class of raag. All raags belong to thhat. In Indian Classical music there are ten thhats. Each raag can be created from any of the ten thhats. Each thhat consist of special note structure. In this paper by using the notes of a song, a procedure which can determine the thhat to which that song belongs is proposed.
