Interactive Items-Based Online Examination System

Current online examinations mostly adopted conventional item templates such as true-false, multiple choices, multiple selection and text input questions, lacking of interactive and operational items such as drawing diagram item template which is very useful to test students´ operational and experiment-based skills. There is a growing interest in using computers to assess student constructed diagrams within computer assisted assessment systems. Focuses of this research are on investigating: (1) interactive item testing system; (2) Web-based drawing tool; (3) Automatic Marker. The experiment results show that the method is valuable.
