Abstract :
Scattering of EM waves is discussed on the angular spectral complex plane on which some infinite sequences of zeros appear as a result of edge-to-edge interference of waves. The paper shows that the lines of curve for these sequences depend on the wave polarization, thereby characterizing the full nature of scattering as well as the structure of scatterers. Examples are given for a metallic strip and a triangular metallic-cylinder.
