Abstract
In this paper, Adapted Contour method in conjunction with pattern search on the Kriging interpolation model is proposed to solve multimodal function. In addition to promising parts are re-interpolated to place the initial point of pattern search better location as well as to search more accurate solution. Through applying a test function, the performance of proposed algorithm is proved. The results about the IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet Motor) optimization show the availability of this new algorithm.
