Abstract :
The main idea in the Internet of things (IOT) is that any object may be able to communicate with others objects by using internet or any other protocol. Within the wide range of objects and devices that make internet of things systems, smart objects (or smart things) are those that contain a certain level of intelligence, which allows them to process information and perform actions. Current smart objects are very heterogeneous, these usually contain their own non-standardized communication mechanisms, so it is very difficult for a smart object or electronic device to interoperate or communicate with other elements that have been designed according to other communication specifications. The purpose of this paper is to provide a possible solution to communication problems resulting from the heterogeneity of communication mechanisms. This proposal adapts the architecture of "collaborative virtual objects based on services" to provide a mechanism that integrates smart objects with different communication mechanisms or specifications.
