Abstract :
With the advancement in computing and communication technologies, more tasks are accomplished effectively and efficiently using information technology as tools. Learning is one of such tasks. The research on how information technology assists an individual in performing tasks evolves to the theories of task-technology fit and technology-to-performance chain, as well as technology acceptance model. Through literature review, areas such as online learning and learning management systems; intention toward technology integration; computer self-efficacy; virtual learning environments; technology attributes on learning relating to task-technology fit and performance in learning are presented and discussed.
