Abstract :
To remove the dust in coal-boiler flue gas, PPS filter is widely used on baghouse because of the excellent performance. Applications show that the components of NOx in flue gas have negative effect on filter. In the paper, some systematic experiments are designed to find the influence of concentration and contacting time of NO2 on PPS filter. The experiment data and SEM images show that the filter break strength and brittleness degrade going with some fibers break. The chemical reaction process is analyzed also.
