Abstract
IT services enable business processes and empower business performance. Since IT services are non-tangible and virtual it is not easy to realize the benefits of IT. As the IT budgets are shrinking, the need for articulation of value offered by IT services is becoming mandatory. The demand for quantification of value is increasing and at the same time it is not so easy. So Business would like to have some measure that will help managers to track the impact of IT on their business. Adopting the Quantification of Value method can yield insights and provide important strategic benefits to the organization. Engineering quality into IT services surely delivers value that can be analyzed. This paper addresses how one can quantify the software qualities into business values, can trace realized values back to the stakeholders and organization. A case study along with a System is also there to show the practical implementation of the proposed method.
