Abstract
According to World Health Organisation (WHO) standard the Radio Frequency (RF) leakage beyond 5mW (+10 dBm) are hazardous to human being [1]. Microwave heating systems have been widely developed for industrial applications especially for food and agricultural products. The microwave oven is a kitchen appliance which is used in day to day life. Long time use of microwave oven leads to leakage of microwave radiation Microwave leakage can easily cross+10 dBm power. These radiations are hazardous to human being. Number of people use microwave ovens every year and make themselves vulnerable to risk. System proposed in this paper detects the leaked radiations. It checks those leaked radiations for the threshold value. If these radiations are found to be above the threshold value i.e. 5mW, then the system informs to their respective owner and manufacturer about leakage. So they can take appropriate action regarding the issue.
