Abstract
The use of ANSI X3.102 to specify and measure user-oriented data communications requirements is discussed. Its application to the measurement of tactical communications in the recent Integrated Tactical Data Network (ITDN) demonstration is described. The demonstration was a cooperative effort of the US Dept. of Defense command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I) community to demonstrate a data information transfer requirements at multiple security levels. The X3.102 setup and measurement approach are described, and the results are presented and discussed
