Abstract :
A method for implementing digital macro functions on an analog simulator for bipolar digital cells is presented. The modeling approach uses a combination of logic controlled current sources with transistor models to implement the overall macro model for the logic function. The overall models have been simulated and their results compared with full transistor-level simulations. The use of macro models has improved simulation performance by as much as four times
