Abstract :
Aimed at the current development of hydrological model and the Web GIS technology, the redesign of TopModel based on Web Service under B/S Architecture was put forward. The main technology related to the development of system, the functions of system and the architecture of system was discussed detailed, and this system was named DotTopModel. At last, the DotTopModel based on Web Service was realized preliminary. This Web Service could check the precipitation and runoff data from database according to the start time and end time that were input by users, simulate these data and save the results in text files. The parameters of models will be rated automated according to the rating times that users input. The graph of results was showed automated through a component named WebChart.
