  • Abstract
G2DMULT is a general algorithm for the calculation of spectral Green functions in general 2D multiregion structures. In order to study scattering from two-dimensional structures in the presence of three-dimensional sources it is necessary to use a spectrum of two-dimensional solutions, S2DS. G2DMULT solves for the unknown tangential fields on specified boundaries. The purpose of this article is to study scattering from a 2D PEC (perfectly electrically conducting) structure in order to validate the computer program G2DMULT against other codes that are known to be correct. A double corrugation is studied and results are compared with an in-house code that have been extensively tested and is known to be correct.
