Abstract :
This paper introduces a linguistic evaluation approach to new-product go/nogo evaluation at the front end in new-product development, based on the 2-tuple linguistic representation and the so-called preference-preserving 2-tuple transformation. A case study taken from the literature is used to illuminate the proposed technique and for a comparative study.
