Abstract :
Wind profiler is a kind of clear air radar, which takes atmospheric turbulence as main detecting object. The electromagnetic wave scattering of atmospheric turbulence is extremely weak, so the turbulence echo will be easily submerged, especially under the condition of precipitation. In order to identify turbulent flow echo and improve the accuracy of the spectra moment evaluation a wind is presented spectrum identification method. It is based on orthogonal polynomials fit. The effectiveness of the method is shown on an example. It is proves that it is a good method to reserve the turbulence information while smoothing noise and it has achieved good effect in wind profiler radar data processing, which has great practical value.
