Abstract
This work presents a validated model for distributed service management based on agent and semantic Web technologies. The approach uses the contract-net protocol plus a service match algorithm. For the implementation, it uses an agent framework that can be easily extended to build different types of distributed service management system. To traditional service management approach or centralized Web service management approach, our model provides a decentralized approach, which depends less on service management server. Our test results show that system extended from this framework can work well and a series of related problems have been solved in our test system.
