  • Abstract
    A 40 Gb/s data transmission is demonstrated through a new approach, the cascaded integration of EAM and SOA. Low driving power 1 Vpp with -3 dB bandwidth 47 GHz, extinction ratio 20 dB, and optical gain of 11.8 dB are attained.
