Abstract
This paper analyzes the torque performance of a noncontact spinning magnetic suspension system using IEM (Integral Element Method) analysis. This spinning system spins the suspended iron ball by rotational disk type magnets without contact. This paper focuses on the performance of the torque on the suspended iron ball in this spinning system. Using IEM analysis method, the torque performance will be analyzed when different amounts´ magnets are used.
