Abstract :
In this paper a direct heated solar desalination system was designed, his system can raise the fresh water production through avoiding the heat loss between collector and desalination and increasing the first stage evaporation temperature. The effects of solar radiation on the highest seawater temperature and fresh water production are researched. The results indicated that the system has a high fresh water production and a shorter time of reaching steady, and it is suited to solar radiation instability.
