  • Abstract
    This paper presents a review of the spread spectrum techniques and applications in the Asia-Pacific region. After a summary of research and development status of spread spectrum communications in this region, spreading sequences, interference cancellation, spread spectrum modulation/demodulation, acquisition and tracking, and application systems are discussed. New results and spread spectrum systems in China, Japan, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong are presented together with future prospects
