Abstract :
In the following we propose a new method of outage calculation for fixed narrow-band terrestrial LOS microwave links operating in the frequency range 2-37 GHz. This method combines the NBS-101 model of slow flat fading and the recently published ITU-R model of fast flat fading in the average worst month of the year. By taking into consideration these two models we arrive at a stricter method of outage calculation
