Abstract
Modern methods of evaluation of electromagnetic fields in nonlinear media, such as the numerical method based on the method of finite elements, are very time and labor consuming, they are distinguished by high-priced available programs and leave optimization problems virtually intractable. It is in the author´s opinion that these drawbacks can be eliminated through the use of the approximation analytic method
