Abstract :
In this paper, we present a new design of annular-ring slot antenna for WLAN/WiMAX applications. The radiating element of the proposed antenna is composed of two annular-ring slots. The antenna has a compact size of 40 mm à 40 mm, which can be integrated easily with other RF front-end circuits. The simulated results show that the proposed antenna has a triple-band characteristic at 2.41 GHz ~ 2.62 GHz, 3.31 GHz ~ 3.75 GHz and 4.95 GHz ~ 5.40 GHz. It also enjoys advantages such as low profile, low cost, high gain and satisfactory radiation characteristics.
